Prince Philip family was banished from Greece when he was still a child making him to have a disrupted childhood. Regardless of his upbringing he made his way to the palace.
Got married at age 26 to Princess Elizabeth before she became the Queen of England when she was age 21 in 1947.
He pledged his allegiance and support the Queen and stood by her till his death. He was the Queen's strength and stay. A dominant personality who humbled himself. His character is to be emulated.
He was the longest-serving consort in the British history. He would be remembered by his devotion and support to the Queen and the entire family and the society at large.
