Todays message is drawn
from Ruth about the story of Naomi and her family, how they left Beth-lehem-judah
to Moab. But while in Moab Naomi experienced loss. Elimelech the husband of
Naomi and their two sons died in Moab and Naomi was left alone with her two daughters
in law (Orpah and Ruth). While reading through
the scripture vs 3-5 hit me. Elimelech died not long after they got to Moab,
and after his death his two sons got married, meaning their father didn’t witness
their wedding. After they got married they stayed ten years and died, meaning
they (Malon and Chilon) did not reproduce (they didn’t have any offspring). Are
you in a Country, business, job, career, etc and you’re experiencing loss
instead of gain? Let the Lord guide you today to take the necessary steps
needed for your breakthroughs.
In vs 6 she heard that God has visited her
people, realizing the land Moab didn’t favor her so she decided to leave Moab
and go back to her Country. She told her daughter inlaws about her intentions
to leave Moab for Beth-lehem-judah and adviced them to return to their people.
Orpha returned but Ruth decided to follow Naomi to wherever she was going in vs
14 – 22.
